Areas of Specialization

Welcome to my online office! And thank you for your interest in discovering how I can help you.

I have three primary specializations. All of which are centered on women overcoming anxiety and depression, trauma, PTSD, and other related difficulties. My approach, however, is much more than merely overcoming as I also aim at navigating the root causes of these disruptive issues and create pathways to prevent their debiltating return.

My Three Areas of Specialization

ONE:  Anxiety and Depression—Women Seeking Purpose and Passion in Life and Career

One of my areas of focus is women that struggle with anxiety or depression while seeking to discover who and what they are and what their purpose is. And although they may not be in “crisis," they can experience debilitating depression or anxiety, low self-esteem, or a variety of issues that create difficulties achieving their potential. Regardless of what it is, we work through it all and develop a growth mindset that frees them to discover their purpose and their passion and build the inner strength needed to pursue it.

In this area of specialization, I typically work with high school seniors, college students, women in careers or in job-relationships that cause more emotional harm than good. And yes, you do have a "relationship" with your job. All of which we approach with a systems and holistic perspective aimed at achieving your well-being.

TWO:  Women in Crisis

In this unique specialization, my focus is on healing victims of damaging relationships—primarily relationships that are dominated by a controlling or narcissistic personality. This is a very important group of women to me and often the most complex because all too often women find themselves in relationships that simply suck the life out of them. They have nothing left at the end of the day for discovering their purpose or living to their potential. In short, there’s an amount of healing that must take place. Some of which is emotional trauma that often includes PTSD.

In turn, we shift your mindset onto a path of growth and recovery to work on purpose and discovering who you are and actualizing who you want to become.  We work on building your inner strength, your self-esteem, self-confidence, and importantly your drive and determination to seek fulfillment so that you can experience optimism, happiness, and joy.

THREE:  Retirement—the Golden Age of Purpose and Passion

My third area of focus is for people that are in "retirement" or approaching this celebrated, although, at times, difficult transition. For many years, I lived and worked in a resort and retirement community where I discovered that endless happiness and joy among the retired community can be something of a myth. I witnessed first-hand how optimism can quickly fade into anxiety and depression when this transition does not turn into what was expected or hoped for.

So, we go to work on managing and moving past the debilitating stressors and emotions that retirement’s reality can bring. We reinstate the importance of purpose and discover new passions that provide fulfillment and joy so this adjustment can be everything it can possibly be.
