Areas of Specialization

Dr. Tran believes the best treatment is combining medication with psychotherapy. Dr. Tran works in collaboration with therapists at Upstate Carolina Associates to provide high quality psychiatric care.

Dr. Tran has extensive experience in treating severe and persistent mental illness through working with the South Carolina Department of Mental health. Dr. Tran completed his residency training at Cleveland County Hospital along with one year of residency in family medicine.

Outside of Dr. Tran’s busy work schedule, he enjoys spending time with his family, cooking and fishing.
